how much do prescription colour contact lenses cost?

i live in the UK, and am looking at CIBA vision Freshlook lenses. If you know of any other prescription coloured lenses, please tell me! thank you
There are 1 tone, 2 tone, 3 tone or crazy contact lense.. 1 tone is 1 colour, 2 tone is 2 colour etc.. 1 tone is about 13 pounds.. 2 tone is about 15 – 16 pounds 3 tone is about 18 pounds they usually last about 6 months – 1 year.. if you know costcos whole sale.. they are doing 6 pairs for 60 pounds, so 10 pound per pair.. however they only last for 1 month each pair.. Give me an email, i’ll sort you out with some prescribed coloured contact lense (: my friend is selling them atm, and i think he does it quite cheaply for CIBA ones (: – i live in uk as well ~ cherii.chan@yahoo.com hope it helped!

why is my glasses prescription stronger than my contact lens prescription?

ok, so my glasses are -1 in both eyes and my contact lens is -.75 in both eyes. i got my glasses at the end of the school year from vision works. Now i decided to get contacts to wear vision correction full time and i found out my contacts are less than my glasses. Why would my contacts not be as strong?
To answer your question simply? It’s because the contact lenses are physically on your eyes. So your prescription doesn’t need to be as strong as specs which sit on your nose and are a little distance away from your eyes. Hope this helps

What is the process for getting prescription contact lens?

Once you get them ordered how long does it take to get them ?I know absolutely nothing about this and am very lost and don’t know where to start.

A – First you have to go to an ophthalmologist and make sure that your eye is compatible for contacts. My Dr. has the contacts I use in stock so I just get them after I get my prescription from him. If there is a specific brand you want you need to make sure and let him know because on some of those contact they need to know measurements of your eye. For example, the extended wear contacts. The prescription for your glasses is not always necessarily the same for contacts, so you need to make sure and go to your ophthalmologist. I’ve never order contacts online, but it’s a good alternative according to a friend of mine that order his online since he says it’s cheaper and good quality. He orders from contactking.com or something like that for prescription contact lens
