• Even with strict airport security you are usually allowed to up to 100 ml of eye care solutions that you can take onto a plane. If you need any more just make sure it’s packed in your main baggage
• Aircraft are often very dry environments and the air conditioning may cause even the best contact lenses to feel uncomfortable. So it’s a good idea to carry some rewetting drops just in case you need them.
• Aircraft cabin pressure has been known to cause bottles and lens cases to leak slightly. So pack your lens case and solutions in a waterproof bag.
• If the budgets allow it it’s a good idea to take an extra pairs of lenses in case you lose or damage your current pair. Even with the best contact lenses and brands, it’s not going to be the easiest thing to sort in a foreign country

If your eyes become red, irritated, sore or your vision changes while wearing your lenses, take them out straight away and visit your eye doctor.
Wearing contact colour lenses can be fun and make your eyes look very different for a while. Wearing them without proper advice and handling can make a difference to your health for a lot longer and that’s not fun!
