How much does it cost to get a new contact lens prescription?
I no longer have vision insurance, but my prescription has run out and I need to buy some more contacts. About how much should I expect to pay in order to get a new prescription? I would imagine it would be pretty cheap, since its a short and routine process. I remember paying $50 dollars when I had insurance, but about how much should I expect to pay without insurance? Just the prescription, not the actual lenses themselves.
depending on where you go…with the contact lens "fitting fee"…probably somewhere between about $80 – $150
our office is $128
