How long can I wear Daily Contact lenses?
I’m a new contact lens user and I get dizzy/slight nausea when I switch from contacts to glasses. I do this because i’m not sure how long I can keep my contact lens on for and so remove them after around 10 hours. I generally have a 15 hour day, is it ok if I have my contacts in all the time right up before I go to sleep?

It is normal to get slightly dizzy when you switch because the contact is directly on your eye which is hard to get used to. The very fist day you used your contacts, you would probably of kept them in for four hours, and then give your eyes a rest. Then, day after day, add an hour on until you can wear them all day long. It is okay to wear them all day long but if you suspect that something is wrong, take them out. I hope this helps

I been through this when I first got my contacts, I got light headed and headaches. so when i first got my contacts and got fitted for them, they told me to wear it for only 3hrs that day, since my eyes were still adjusting to them.
and gave me this list of what i should and shouldn’t do when wearing my contacts.
I wear them all day until night time, i take them out. and i sometimes sleep with them in even when im not suppose to, but i tend to forget i have them on..
but do remember to change contacts every 2wks after wearing them (:

when u first get ur contacts, wear them for only 3 HRs at the most, then next day, 4hrs, then so on so forth by the time a week passes, u can wear them for about 10HRS if u want
but for health reasons, u shud only wear them for about 8-9Hrs a day, cuz sumtimes if u wear them 2 long, u can get an eye infection and go blind in either or both eyes
oh…and one last thing…PLEASE try not 2 sleep with contacts on….the lenses can stick 2 ur eyeball or they can slide around ur eye and slip into ur socket area!!
