Can you get colored contacts without a prescription?
I want to change my eye color to grey/gray since i realized I would look hot in them. But I have 20/20 vision so I dont need them. I just want to change my eye color. Dont tell me to be proud of what Im born with cuz I am proud. I just thought it would be awesome. So can you get contacts that are not medicated so you see things better cuz I dont need to.
And another question, how do you spell grey/gray?
i dont really know if i have an eye doctor lol.
I feel so stupid for not knowing since I take Art Studio in school.
Hello……I dont even know if I have one…..I saw one once but i dont know if he is my eye doctor cuz I only saw him once…….and i doubt my mom would take me just to get another eye color.
why in the world would i go all the way to my doctor? And I wont be like hey mom, we need to go to the doctor cuz I want to get contacts.

It is ILLEGAL in the US to sell contacts without an Rx, this is for your safety since a) not every one in the world can safely wear contacts, b) you MUST be fitted for them, wearing the wrong size can screw up your eyes, c) you need to be taught how to properly care for them, how to put them in and out (harder than it sounds) and what to watch out for, d) you need to be monitored every once in a while to make sure they aren’t damaging you (which is why the Rx’s expire after a year).

First of all it’s gray (if you are talking about colors.)
Second, no you don’t need to have a prescription for contacts to get colored contacts. Hope I helped!

yea, you can get colored contacts w/o a prescription. just ask your eye doctor the next time you see him/her.

I don’t know things about US but in Taiwan or like Macau, we get whatever colour contacts we want, which doesn’t need to have a prescription. I myself have bought contacts once and those were blue, and I often see my friends and classmates change theirs, just to look cool.
But if things are different in the US, then I suggest you just to consult the doctor first before buying.
