Okay so I am going to an anime convention and I am buying circle contact lenses for my cosplay.
I heard that most circle lenses should be taken out after 8 to 12 hours max, are there any that I can wear from around 9am to 2am the next day? (Yes 9am on Saturday 2am Sunday morning)
If there are none that I can wear for that amount of time:
Can I wear them for about 9 hours, then take them out on my break time, then put them back in for the rest of the day (My break is about half an hour to an hour)
But,
I heard that you only take them out because they get dry, so if my contacts or if my eyes feel dry, can I just put contact solution/eye drops in my eye throughout the day as needed?
If the reason is not because they get dry then why does everyone say you can only wear them for 8 to 12 hours a day?
(Btw I’m planning on getting lenses from GEO brand)
If you have any tips for wearing circle contact lenses at conventions please respond to this with those tips as well! :3
Thank you~

It is continual long wearing of colored lenses that is not advised because they have a low oxygen transmission level, and are slowly suffocating your cornea while they are on. The GEO or any other color lenses are pretty well the same for poor transmission and shouldn’t be worn for long hours every day…or even every day for that matter.
Bring refreshing drops for contacts with you because you will probably need them often after 7 or 8 hours wear.
Be sure to bring a case and some multi purpose solution in it , in case they get so annoying you have to take them off for a few hours.

I absolutely love the look of circle lens contacts.
I had some before, but they costed me a lot of money.
Where circle lenses are so large, I expect they will be a bit more expensive, but does anyone know where I can find the cheapest?

For people who don’t know what I’m talking about…Those contacts that make your eyes bigger and "pop" more
I dont think walmart would sell those things, esp here in the US they’re quite strict in regulating prescription contact lenses. I tried looking around for those stuff too (lol)… try searching online. But I think the most that you’ll find are off-shore distributors. Make sure you read reviews from forums or online communities before u purchase one, just to be on the safe side.
