Best Contact Lenses

I’ve just got my contacts from a friend, and they’ve already expired. It says 2010/3 and it’s almost April. Is it bad to wear expired contact lenses(circle lenses).

When i bought contact lenses the optician told me to dispose them after it is expired since it can damage your pupil and the layer on top of your eye is really sensitive and it needs to breath and if you wear an expired contact lense it will going to damage that layer by preventing it to breath. I would suggest not to use them. Since we are not suppose to used expired stuff. Theres a reason why we have expiry date on everything. Just to be on the safe side ask any optician.

Are circle lenses actually really big in diameter? I wear 13.8 regular contacts and I wanna get some that are 14.5, but are they actually that big? Can I wear them?


Actually at 13.8, yours are small for soft lenses.

Most soft lenses are 14.0 – 14.5

I’ve just noticed this recently, after taking my contacts out I can see a white circle from where the contact has been, is this normal?

A white circle on the cornea is not normal. It’s usually a sign that the contacts are not providing enough oxygen to the cornea and it has become compromised. White spots could be infiltrates which are an early sign, or an ulcer or a scar. Lenses should be discontinued until a doctor evaluates the situation.

What do you think about the new cosmetic color contact lenses, such as the ones found at http://www.qqcontacts.com compared to normal color contacts?
